The Trade Union Bill is currently making its way through Parliament. The Lords voted with a significant majority to remove clause 13 from the bill after listening to the sensible arguments made by employers and trade unions. 

Clause 13 would give the Minister the power to cap facility time. We want to keep clause 13 out of the Trade Union Bill as we believe it puts partnership working at risk and the Government should trust employers to make their own facility time arrangements with their reps.  

Email your MP and ask them to attend the debate on the Lords’ amendments to the Trade Union Bill and vote to ensure that clause 13 is kept out of the bill.
